# Integration guide

> How to integrate the Almedia Link SDK — synced from the source repository.

About **15 minutes** of engineering time, from opening the SDK to a player completing their
first link.

  No installation commands, initialisation calls, configuration keys or method signatures appear
  on this page, because none of them have been verified against the SDK. An integration guide
  that is 90% right is worse than one that is visibly absent: the reader cannot tell which 10%
  to distrust.

  **When sync is live**, this is the one section of the site where the numbered `<Steps>`
  component belongs. It reads as a CLI install wizard, which is exactly right for an engineer
  following an install sequence and exactly wrong for the Overview and Publisher Guide.
